How to play Four Word

 

Arrange the letters provided to form at least four 4-lettered words

• All qualifying words must contain four letters.
• Words can be formed horizontally, reading from left to right.
• Words can be formed vertically, reading from top to bottom.
• No other words count. No words formed diagonally, reading from bottom to top, or reading from right to left count.

To rearrange letters:

• Click or tap on one letter and then click or tap on a second letter to swap positions of the letters.

Check the words you formed by pressing the "Check Puzzle" button.

Rules for word inclusion

• Names of people are not included.
• Names of places are included, but they are all lowercase.
• Words consist of letters only, so no contractions.
• Words are all lowercase.
• Some words should be capitalized, but are included as lowercase.
• No acronyms are included.
• Did we forget some words? Yes, but not intentionally.

Rules for word inclusion: child-friendly version

• Same as above word-inclusion rules with additional restrictions.
• The seven network-banned words are not recognized as words in puzzle solutions.
• Other undesirable words are removed from the puzzle generating dictionary.
• Puzzle generating words are generally easier than the adult version.

Play the puzzle as often as you wish or play the Puzzle of the Day (POD) once a day with everyone else. A new puzzle of the day drops at midnight.
